Introduction

In accordance with the decision of the Lumbini Province Government in the year 2076 BS, the Road Infrastructure Development Office was formally established and brought into operation in Bardiya District on 1st Magh 2076 BS.

Within Bardiya District, this office bears the primary responsibility of constructing and maintaining provincial roads, road bridges, and suspension bridges under the policies and directives of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development and the Directorate of Transport Infrastructure of the Lumbini Province Government.

As per the approved annual programs, the office has been regularly issuing competitive open bids for the construction of various roads and bridges, and has been continuously advancing the construction activities of roads, road bridges, and suspension bridges each fiscal year. The office remains strongly focused on cost-effective planning and ensuring high-quality work.
