Introduction

According to the decision of the Provincial Government, Lumbini Province, dated 2076/06/24, the 'Road Infrastructure Development Office' was established in Bardiya District on 2076/09/24. The main responsibility of this office is to construct, upgrade, and maintain the roads within the district and keep transportation operational throughout the year. Besides roads, this office is also responsible for the construction and maintenance of road bridges and suspension bridges. In accordance with the approved annual program, this office has progressed in road and bridge construction work by inviting competitive open tenders for various roads and bridges. The office has consistently focused on cost-effective planning and quality workmanship.
